| Professional Open Houses
We host Open Houses for professionals involved in education or who are interested in the field of learning disabilities and the work of Arrowsmith School on several Fridays throughout the year with a morning session from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and an afternoon session from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. We ask visitors to register beforehand so we will know how many are attending.
These begin with a formal presentation followed by an opportunity to visit the classrooms and observe students working on the Arrowsmith cognitive exercises.
We will also be pleased to schedule a visit to the school at a different time if you have a group of six or more and are unable to attend to one of our regularly scheduled sessions.
We will be posting our schedule for the fall of 2007 later in the year. For further information or to register, please contact Janice Jordan at 416 963-5706 or by email to
jjordan@arrowsmithprogram.ca
We welcome enquiries from educators who are interested in learning about how their school or board may be able to offer the Arrowsmith Program and invite them to contact Annette Goodman at 1 800 963-4904 or by email to
agoodman@arrowsmithprogram.ca
Speakers
We welcome enquiries from organizations that are interested in having a member of our staff make a presentation at one of their functions.
We have in the past spoken to public service, education and religious groups. We will be pleased to try to address specific interests that your organization may have such as literacy, the nature of specific learning disabilities, or services that are available in the public and private sector for students with learning disabilities.
If you would like further information, please contact Janice Jordan at 416 963-5706 or by email to
